Couple Have Triplets – Born Three Years Apart

Couple Have Triplets – Born Three Years Apart

A married  couple who thought they would never be able to have children are celebrating the birth of their triplets – who were born three years apart.

Proud parents Denise and Glen Higgs thought their dream of having children had been dashed after he was made ɪɴFᴇʀᴛɪʟᴇ ᴅᴜᴇ ᴛᴏ ᴄᴀɴᴄᴇʀ ᴛʀᴇᴀᴛᴍᴇɴᴛ. Before he ᴘᴇʀFᴏʀᴍᴇᴅ sᴜʀɢᴇʀʏ, ᴄᴀɴᴄᴇʀ ᴛʀᴇᴀᴛᴍᴇɴᴛ, he decided to freeze sᴘᴇʀᴍ.before his ᴛᴇsᴛɪᴄᴜʟᴀʀ ᴄᴀɴᴄᴇʀ ᴛʀᴇᴀᴛᴍᴇɴᴛ at the age of 20 made him infertile.  His frozen sᴘᴇʀᴍ, doctors successfully created eight embryos through I.V.F and the couple had a daughter Mazy.

The couple tried again using the same batch and Denise gave birth to twins Carter and Carson last week. And medical staff have told the couple that the three children are actually triplets as the batch of embryos were all created at the same time.

He met Dee and, , after living together for five years, they mariged in 2011 He found out an unusual tumour growing within the testicle. After all ᴛʀᴇᴀᴛᴍᴇɴᴛs , his sᴘᴇʀᴍ and they were non-swimmers. If they want to have children , they  would have to go through I.V.F.

The couple first had I.V.F in 2010 and were lucky enough to have a baby girl. And now their beautiful twins have been born apart 3 years the family is complete.

Glen, now a manager at a filter-making factory, said: “We put two in to attempt to have a child the first time and froze the other six. We were talking about getting rid of them – as we were paying a yearly storage fee – but decided to try again. We had to fund it ourselves this time and put two in again. Amazingly they both stuck and we have ended up with two more beautiful babies. I am the happiest man ever. I have three healthy kids when I thought I would never have any. What my wife and her body had to go through makes her the real hero to me.”

The I.V.F procedure involved doctors effectively “hoovering” the ᴇɢɢs out of Dee’s body and injecting them with the frozen sᴘᴇʀᴍ.

Care assistant Denise, 27, said: “When I heard I was having twins I cried and my husband just went white. To now have triplets is simply amazing. We are so happy.”

The couple have now ᴅɪsᴘᴏsᴇᴅ of the remaining embryos and have no plans to have any more children.
